Caramel has been my favorite color to wear this fall. Looking back on last year, I would not bother thinking twice about this warm tone. However, seasons change as fashion does and in comes the era of YEEZY. I'm not saying Kanye was the first to offer a neutral, earthy palette, but he sure did popularize it. Olive green, caramel, beige--YEEZY colors, as I like to call it.
I bought this shirt and skirt set from Forever 21. It was $35 for both the top and bottom. At first, I wasn't wild about the fit. But when my girlfriend guessed that I paid $100 for it, a girl can change her mind! I love the ribbed pattern--such a 90's thing. I've also worn this with over-the-knee boots and a blazer for a polished, office outfit.
I love my creamy Givenchy handbag and how it has pops of black, making it wearable with both black and white. I could have worn nude shoes, but I would have looked washed out. So, I opted for classic white pumps. One of my favorite looks is to have white shoes as my statement piece--it's subtle, yet distinct and classy.
This was my first time working with photographer Alex Rios and I was not sure what to expect. But man, oh man! How gorgeous are these tones? How wonderful is the composition? These photos could be mistaken as illustrations, similar to a Prada campaign. Style is my forte, but it would be difficult to properly capture these outfits without the blessing to work with outstanding photographers like Alex.
I changed my hair color recently from silver/blue (I liked to call it "blue steel") to this cerulean/cadet blue. I'm pretty particular when it comes to naming colors, and I love how I can't point my finger on this shade. I'm having lots of fun with these hair colors.
I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving! Do something today that will make you better tomorrow. Thanks so much for stopping by!
