3 Hacks For Maximizing Workouts

1. Supersize Your Workout with Supersets

If you're like me (and like most humans), there's a zillion things I'd rather do than cardio. It's time-consuming and mundane as hell. Instead, opt for supersets--performing two different exercises without breaks in between. 

For one of my supersets, I do Bulgarian split squats and superset with deadlifts using weights as heavy as you can manage (trust yourself--you're much stronger than you think!) I promise you'll break a sweat quicker than running on an elliptical/treadmill. 

2. Full-body Workouts

Getting yourself to the gym is like doing dishes--it sounds dreadful at first, but once you start, it's not so bad! I like to spend 2.5 hours at the gym doing full-body workouts so that I could go to the gym less often. Often being 2-3 times a week. Some people like working out 5 times a week, hitting a different muscle group each day--certainly not me. Doing full-body workouts allows me to devote more time catching up on reading or plotting for the future MUAHAHAH.

3. Save The Best For Last

Meaning, expense your energy doing the hardest workouts first. I start with legs, specifically squats, then trickle down to doing back, arms and abs. If I want to look lean for a special event, or shed some extra weight before a photo shoot, I'll finish with cardio intervals on the StairMaster for 15-20 minutes.
