Denim Thigh-High Boots

One of these days, these boots are gonna walk all over you. Place all your bets on a thigh high/tunic combo to lift your spirits when you're feeling drab. If you don't think you can pull off this look, then you probably can't, sister--because attitude is everything!

Denim thigh high boots have been popping up all over Instagram. As if I needed an excuse to have more denim in my life. My calves are on the skinny side, but these boots fit like a glove. If you have medium-large calves, I doubt these would work out. But like I said, I have unusually small calves and wear a shoe size 6--hope this helps!

I live in this oversized crew neck sweater from Groceries Apparel, and it even has side pockets! Bomber jacket is actually a menswear jacket from Urban Outfitters in a size small. Last but not least, I'm finally seeing into the future with these gold-trimmed aviators from Glasses USA.

When in doubt, it is best to keep things neutral. This goes for everyone, boys and girls. In case you've been living under a rock, neutral palettes have been the theme for several seasons now--and the minimalist in me is dancing in celebration.

Here is a pre-fall look I styled for Forever 21 (and a few more on the way)! Hate it or love it, but it is a common truth that Forever 21 capitalizes on impromptu, out-on-the-own ensembles.

Bomber jackets can do no wrong (wear them with dresses, skirts or everything), and sheer high-neck bodysuits deserve their own spotlight. Street luxe exudes an air of confidence that is both refined and badass--my favorite way to be. Shop my pre-fall selects in the links below:

Tokyo Killa

"Rock that all white when I’m feeling godly." I love dressing up in white. I often hear people say “I don’t want to get it dirty!” There’s so much more to life than banking on the off-chance you would get your clothes dirty. Live a little. Nothing is ever as bad as it seems. :)

These photos were taken when I travelled to Tokyo for the first time. I’m happy I got to capture these shots in such an amazing city. I was there for 10 days and really immersed myself in the culture, and there’s so much culture to experience! I love their attention to detail and design, as well as their devotion for hard work, respect and great food! From their iconic city lights to their oriental alleyways, Japan was everything it is hyped up to be!

I was fortunate to work with an English-speaking photographer out there, and he was nice enough to show my friend and I around the city. Shout out to Chris for being so awesome! Can't wait to come back. Till next time, Japan!

Ladies and gents, if you are in the market for a jacket, please let it be a bomber jacket! Bomber jackets emit a classic cool, on trend with the 90's revival and street wear looks that are so hot right now.

I'm guilty of wearing this bomber too often, but I can't help it! I've worn it with a t-shirt dress, another occasion with jeans and pictured here with a midi skirt, and it adds an instant cool to any outfit. Extra swag points for satin bombers, which channel old-school hip-hop vibes.

Mark David (@photosbydirtbag) is a talented photographer from the Bay Area, and I'm thrilled to be featured in the first episode of his film project, My Style. These photos were taken during my interview, in which I elaborate on my style influences, tips and the madness that is victorialamode! I'll be sure to post the video on Facebook once it is live!

If you haven't already, show me some fb love and "like" my Facebook page here: I'll love you forever <3

Thanks a bunch for dropping in. Cheers to a productive week!
