Drugstore Cowboy

And the award for "came out of nowhere" goes to the bodysuit! If you don't have a bodysuit, then you're a freaking loser! I'm just joking. But in all seriousness, bodysuits have been slowly but surely invading my closet slash life. They pair so well with mid/high waisted jeans or skirts, even denim shorts for a casual laid back look on a warm day! Steer clear of wearing them with low waisted bottoms in fear of an accentuated pooch.

I felt a little barren and to be honest, a little basic with just a halter bodysuit and maxi skirt, so I added the Indiana Jones fedora for some much needed pizazz! Now I feel like the Cowboy who busts through the swinging doors of a saloon and I'm about to whoop somebody's ass! Who's with me? (Yeah, clothes take me places for sure).

My Festival Favorites

Greetings, world! Here's my friend Grace and I being silly splashing around in Indio. We danced our way through Coachella weekend 1 and it was nothing short of spectacular! Then I hopped in the car and went on an impromptu trip to LA, which seemed like a perpetual SoCal vacation for me..but now I'm back! I thought it'd be cool to share some of my favorite looks at Coachella. Hope you guys enjoy!

Chiefs of Chella:

It's always fun seeing a matching group! Props to guys who wear short shorts loud and proud!

Aurora Lights

This look is so on point, even her camera strap looks chic! Love the brilliant colors on this flowy dress worn with Balenciaga-inspired boots and ruffle ankle socks. Hot pink lips to match her purse, this girl's got the details down to the T!

Native Language

This printed cardigan is everything! Long cardigans project bohemian vibes and cover just enough of that itty bitty outfit underneath. Gladiator sandals are the perfect piece to complete this boho look.

Bohemian Nights

On Left: Tie-dye doesn't have to be rainbow bright! Loving the colors on this summery romper paired with nude booties. Her fringe messenger bag and studded strap is simply gorgeous and adds a boho twist!

On Right: Maxi dresses are are a chic way to stay cool under the blazing sun! I'm drawn to the color and print of her dress paired with rose gold jewelry. A long necklace perfectly complements a long dress.

Golden Hour

It's good to know what works for your skin/body type and this girl has got it down! White and coral are the perfect colors that complement her gorgeous tan. Now how about these lacy pants! I love how they're both delicate and sassy. She ties the look together with a simple flower crown, leaving all the attention to these "fancy pants."

Sheer Delight

Denim shorts are a music festival staple, but sheer and flowy dresses will get you noticed. Loving this gypsy look; from the dangling coin necklace to the arm bands and floppy hat..yes, yes and yes!! To me, these looks are reminiscent of Alessandra Ambrosio's Coachella fashions.

Minty Fresh

Here's a refreshing take on men's festival fashions. Loving this beachy look out in the desert. His clothes are simple but it's the bold sunglasses and hair that make this look stand out.

Fringe Benefits

Mesh, embroidery, crochet, and fringes; different textures = black and white done right! Love how these cuties have a theme going on.

Desert Oasis

On Left: I love me some royal blue. The halter top is back! Props to girls who aren't shy to carry around a purple umbrella--get your Gwen Stefani on, doll!

On Right: There's so much going on and the best part is that she makes it work. Some say headdresses are a music festival no-no, but I have to admit this one is particularly pretty. Dangling coin necklaces (for lack of a better term) are so hot right now and same goes for mirrored sunglasses. Airy hippie pants are a chic and casual way to stay cool in the desert.

Hot Springs

Cutie with a booty! How hot is this look? I saw this babe from a distance and literally ran after her LOL because this outfit is just that awesome. Hot pink chiffon paired with a scoop back tank top is simply perfection.

Fresh as a Daisy

Bikini bottoms at a music festival are for the bold! Love her daisy top and its playful fringes.

Desert Rose

"Baby put on heart-shaped sunglasses, 'cause we're gonna take a ride." --Lana Del Rey fans rejoice! These pretties do it best in their gorgeous maxi skirts.

On Left: I'm obsessed with her tribal print skirt coupled with side slits and a black bikini on top, because life is all about balance.

On Right: Can we talk about this amazing gypsy belt? Such a chic accessory to her simple skirt, because whites are always nice.

Purple Haze

Last but not least: Here's Grace, Angel and I in our fun and flirty outfits designed by Angel! I loved our luscious flower crowns and wore mine all weekend! She can top off any custom order from accessories to all kinds of dresses. Visit her site for more: http://www.lipglossclubwear.net/

Thanks so much for reading, guys! I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far!

Junkyard Glam

After the maxi dress came the maxi skirt, and we fell in love all over again. So what’s better than a maxi skirt? -A double-slit skirt from Ecote! Pair this head-turning number with a bustier for a high-glam look or with a black vintage tank for that casual luxe.

I love how choker necklaces are back! I also like to wear this clear diamond-studded choker with a crop top and denim shorts for an effortless cool. I’ve been getting into a lot of clear heels and accessories; clutches, arm cuffs and choker necklaces (see Jeffrey Campbell and Nasty Gal). It’s such a fun and different trend!
