Off the Shoulder Dress + Wet Hair Trend

My eyes appreciate the subtleties that make a simple outfit look substantial. Can we talk about this dress? It's asymmetrical neckline, the off-the-shoulder business, and the unbuttoned buttons. Heaven knows I love a piece that can be dressed up or downplayed. Wear this dress with minimalist heels--or do the opposite--and opt for a baseball cap and sneakers for that off-duty-Hailey-Baldwin look. I love pieces that make me feel powerful, and this baby one of them!

How do you guys feel about the wet hair trend? I love it! Keep reading to see the products I used. Psych! I just poured a bottle of water over my head. And it was a hot day so I had to keep rewetting it. I even saw a mother cover her child's eyes. I've been committed to a hair routine free of heat tools and products for a couple years now to give my hair a fighting chance. But now that my bad (damaged) hair days are over, I can start styling it more often. Keep a lookout for more hairstyles!

Thanks so much for dropping in. Till next time! xx

Cozy Delicacies

Finding new ways to look cute in the cold is one of my many specialties. Pairing a delicate top with a cozy knit sweater is like peanut butter and jelly--they're better together! I picked up this cardigan and knew the blue-grey hue would be a lovely complement to a nude top. Even better that it's mesh! Because textures add depth to any outfit.

Throw on some simple, open-toe heels and voila! A look that is both chic and provocative. Be on the lookout for sweaters with extra-long sleeves--it's a thing. A byproduct of the oversized trend, if you will. The sweater I'm wearing is super soft and cozy, I find myself looking for multiple ways to wear it; aka I would throw it over anything. We all need something that translates from day to night.

Your Highness

High neck, high ponytail and thigh-high boots. Here's the second fall look I styled for Forever 21. A classic mod/1960's look, popularized by an angelic cutie named Ariana Grande. Also, curved hems on shirts or dresses are a major plus--and kudos to guys who rock curved hem t-shirts.

Forever 21 gave me the opportunity to pick out my favorite fall looks, and I picked mostly night-on-the-town pieces. Say what you want about Forever, but it's astonishing how their selection is equally on-trend and affordable. This dress was $12.00! My lunch costs more than this dress! Amazing.
