Cut It Out

Dress: 2bella Boutique, Sandals: Michael Kors  |  Capture by Lux

Hi, friends! Today's look is all about cutouts. I've been seeing more and more cutouts on dresses, tops, pants and even shoes and I think they keep things interesting. If you're like me, you might have different variations of the same top. There's nothing wrong with a basic top, but it's nice to change it up and wear a different cut once in a while!

Caged, strappy or cutout tops show just enough skin to catch someone's eye without showing too much. How pretty is this caged dress from 2bella Boutique? I love the details such as the tiny rings connecting the straps and the embellished hem. Isn't the caged neckline more interesting than a basic tank dress? Because the dress is flowy, it pairs well with my Michael Kors gladiator sandals. Since this look is cute and a bit edgy, you could wear it day or night. I hope everyone is having a fabulous week! Thanks for reading, guys!

Lace and Leather

Top: Urban Outfitters, Shorts: The Scarlet Room, Boots: Superdry  |  Shot by David Soloman

Hello, beautifuls! I'm currently vacationing in Miami because this Saturday is my birthday! Nevertheless, I still had to post a blog for you guys to enjoy!

Let's talk about these amazing lace trimmed shorts. You don't have to twist my arm for me to love this daytime lingerie trend! I found these shorts on Instagram, which explains why they're from Singapore. What's special about them is that the lace is scalloped and much longer than most shorts alike! Remember, opting for something sheer is always sexier than baring it all. I thought I'd offset the girly lace with a pair of boyish combat boots for a playful look. Black and gold is always good for days where all-black-everythang needs a break.

Time for birthday mimosas with the girlies. I wish you all a wonderful week!

Schoolgirl Feelings

Top: Tildon (also worn here), Skirt: H&M (also worn here), Necklace: Xevana, Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell  |  Photos by Carl Mahoney

My skater skirt strikes again! I love the scuba-suit neoprene and the way it flounces as I move. It's probably my favorite H&M purchase to date! Naturally, I paired it with this sheer button-up and stockings for the classic schoolgirl look. If you have been following my blog, you would know that I literally live in my Xevana necklace--it goes with everything! Or perhaps I just wear it with everything? Embrace who you are and do as you please: That's the beauty of personal style!

I'm not sure why I'm drawn to juxtaposing a pretty outfit against a run-down place. Yet here I am once again exploring dark and desolate areas. I thought it would be interesting to switch it up and do a nighttime shoot. The darkness adds a cinematic touch, wouldn't you agree?

It's that time to reload on my caffeine. I hope you all are having a fantastic week! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Champagne Wishes

Shirt: H&MPants: Isabel Marant for H&M (also worn here), Hat: Asos, Shoes: Steve Madden  Photos by Luxrad

I'm baaaaaack! Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. My brother was visiting from Philadelphia and it seemed like we were on a never-ending quest to soak up the sun and devour all the food in Nor Cal (Northern California). I'd say it was a success :)

Let's get back to this outfit, shall we? :) I styled this look starting with these champagne jogger pants. I always start with a statement piece and style around it so my outfit doesn't look turn out so busy.

Grey, light blue and champagne; isn't it a pretty color palette? The denim top and champagne pants go so well together, but I added the hat for an urban flair. I'd say the hat also tones down the dressy pants, and makes this look more casual. I finished the look the with these killer holographic heels from Steve Madden, which I've been wearing with almost everything. I'm kind of extreme like that :)

I hope everyone is having a fantastic week! Thanks a bunch for reading!
