Wild West

Howdy, partner. I wore this outfit to brunch with my grandparents and my grandma was quite pleased with my western, mountain woman look. She asked me to dress like this everyday lol, so this one is for you, grams.

The dress is a lovely lace which stands beautifully on it's own, but I added the hat for some edge. I still felt pretty girly so I added the bandana and boots. I tried something different and layered necklaces over my bandana and I think it's quite cutesy. Would you wear this look? Let me know in the comments section below!

Crop Circle

Normally, I wouldn't wear sweatpants out in public but these hemp drop crotch sweatpants from Groceries are sicker than your average. They're 100% organic and made in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Pair them with sneakers for an instant cool. Highly suggested as an airport outfit or for running errands on-the-go.

Laidback Luxe - Dear Mama

My mama bought me this DKNY crew neck sweatshirt back in the 90's when I was YUNG VIC, and I have to thank her for keeping ya girl fresh since day one. As a little girl, I loved to watch her get ready for work and "help" her put on her lipstick and jewelry. My mother's style has always been classy and feminine, whereas I'm a little rougher around the edges, but I attribute my love of fashion to her. She inspires me everyday and is once, twice, three times a lady. Mama, "mẹ," "momz," you are appreciated.

Now back to this outfit: I'm currently into skirts with slits or interesting hems such as this rounded, high-low hem you see here. It's hard to tell in the pictures, but the skirt is made of a mesh material for that sporty-chic appeal. Finishing the look with Adidas Superstars was a no-brainer since wearing sneakers with skirts is currently one of top favorite trends. For a touch of luxe, I threw on my extreme cat-eye sunglasses, which only cost me a not-so-luxe $9!

I want to be the one you tell all your friends about. If you like what you see, feel free to leave a comment, like or share this post :)

I hope you're all having a positive week. Thanks a bunch for dropping in!

Indiana Jane

ZI9A1371.jpg

This fedora makes me feel like I'm Indiana Jones and I should be cracking the whip somewhere, escaping everyday villains! It was a gift from the historically lush Beringer Vineyards just outside of Napa--their chardonnay was my favorite! Made by Scala, the hat costs the same as one from Urban Outfitters, but the ones from Urban suck in comparison and quality. The shape and construction of Scala's hats are a perfect ten. I'm pretty sure it's a men's fedora--what's with me and shopping in the men's section lately?

I like donning this hat with outfits of neutral tones. Wear it with jeans and a T-shirt, or a dress/skirt for a hipster, rock-and-roll flair!

P.S. How gorgeous is this greenery?
