Run 10 Feed 10

If you know me, you would know that I'm a big foodie. Unfortunately, not everyone has that privilege. Currently, there are 48 million Americans who suffer from hunger--hunger as in malnutrition. And the leading cause for malnutrition is poverty. So, run with me. Register to run this 10K and feed 10 people in your hometown.

Run 10 Feed 10 is hosted in several cities. Use my code WHLY for a discount. Here is the link to register for the San Francisco run:

Coat Check

News Flash: Even through the warm winters of California, the long overcoat is trending heavily. Maybe it is because its popularity coincides with its versatility. Maybe it is because it is chic enough to dress up or dress down. In any case, this classic coat pairs perfectly with an office outfit. It's great for day-to-night look and even completes a streetwear ensemble as you see here. People have made comments on how often I wear this coat, but IDGAF. I'm thinking about buying this baby in grey, as well.

In addition to trending topics, baseball caps are all the rage. They give off a casual "I-didn't-have-to-try" vibe, when Lord knows you tried lol.

How do you like my new sneakers? They're the "Blue Force" Nike Air Huaraches. Arguably, one of the most artfully constructed sneakers to date--coming from a girl who sold shoes for a living. I love their brilliant blue hue and how they add a pop of color to my outfit.

This was one of my first photo shoots in a studio and I love how the lighting is so skillfully manipulated. Studio shoots typically aren't my preference, but I declared 2016 to be a year of new experiences.

What new things will you try this year?

Ladies and gents, if you are in the market for a jacket, please let it be a bomber jacket! Bomber jackets emit a classic cool, on trend with the 90's revival and street wear looks that are so hot right now.

I'm guilty of wearing this bomber too often, but I can't help it! I've worn it with a t-shirt dress, another occasion with jeans and pictured here with a midi skirt, and it adds an instant cool to any outfit. Extra swag points for satin bombers, which channel old-school hip-hop vibes.

Mark David (@photosbydirtbag) is a talented photographer from the Bay Area, and I'm thrilled to be featured in the first episode of his film project, My Style. These photos were taken during my interview, in which I elaborate on my style influences, tips and the madness that is victorialamode! I'll be sure to post the video on Facebook once it is live!

If you haven't already, show me some fb love and "like" my Facebook page here: I'll love you forever <3

Thanks a bunch for dropping in. Cheers to a productive week!

Currently on heavy rotation in my everyday wardrobe is this crew neck pullover. I paired it with a whimsical skater skirt and nude heels for a street wear flair. Though just the other day, I styled it with high-waisted denim, kicks and french braid pigtails. I get pretty excited over a piece that I'm able to dress up or dress down. I love its dolman sleeves, and the relaxed crop cut is good for when I'm trying to hide from the sun without making me feel too covered up. A weekend at Coachella left me tan af, so I like to wear long sleeves when I'm "off-duty" in order for my skin to lighten up lol. But if you have a sun-kissed tan, I'm not mad at ya. To top off this polished look, my Givenchy handbag came out to play. I've had it for a couple years, but I still crack a little smile when admiring its 1970's color block detailing.
