Saltwater Gypsy

If fashion is art, then wearing all white is minimalism at its finest. Such a chic and simple color that is perfect for either blending in or standing out. I layered on the Native American-inspired necklaces and stacked a bunch of chunky bracelets. The large beaded bracelet I’m wearing was actually a necklace from a Cinco de Mayo celebration at a Mexican restaurant, fun times! I’m not Mexican in the least bit, but I’m all for celebrations. I grew up in the suburbs but my disposition lies in the nomadic ways of a gypsy. Wearing all this jewelry and splashing in the tides under the blazing sun channels a spirit within me that is wild and free.

I’ve been told I could save a lot of time if I took more selfies and mirror pictures of my outfit-of-the-day, but that’s not nearly as fulfilling as exploring the unseen while showcasing my style and self-expression. [But hey, I do love me a good selfie!] It’s quite an adventure every time I shoot with Lux. We trampled off trail, climbed over massive boulders and waded through waist deep tides to discover this magnificent paradise. I love what I do, and it gives me great joy to share this with whomever digs my vibes. Thanks a ton for stopping by, my loves. I hope your day is as marvelous as you!

City Chic

Blazer: BCBG, Top: Hanes, Shorts: Brandy Melville, Hat: Cheap Monday, Necklace: Xevana

In the past couple of weeks, I gained a newfound love for the city of San Francisco. Sometimes where there's familiarity, you forget to stop and smell the roses. The sun's going down and the fog is lit by the city lights. It's a mellow evening for photographer Adot White to capture this city chick in my laid back look.

One thing I love to do is to juxtapose casual and formal elements. I'm wearing a plain grey T-shirt with denim shorts and a leather baseball cap--all casual pieces, and dressed them up with a blazer and this incredible statement necklace for the perfect balance of cool and casual.

A Classic Look: Black and White

Coat: Fleurette, Pants & crop top: Forever 21, Shoes: BCBG, Purse: Givenchy | Photos by Thai Nguyen

Cold and gloomy weather can make this girl feel downright dreary, but winter days are slightly brighter in this stunning overcoat. Double-breasted lapels, padded shoulders and 100% cashmere—isn’t she just darling! With such an elegant structure, she can be worn over a night out with the girls, or over a pair of Levi’s and a white boyfriend tee while running errands during the day. For my outfit, I went with the classic black and white, with a pop of color on my handbag. Words can’t describe how much I adore this handbag. My philosophy: If I’m going to splurge on a purse, it should be anything but boring! Its shape is so modern yet classic. I love the playful color-blocking going on. Cream and orange pair beautifully, with contrasting black accents to make a statement. Looks so chic with super pointy white pumps! Enjoy your weekend, and thanks so much for reading!

The New White Button-Up

Sheer and mesh tops have been causing such a stir! I love the alluring element of this trend; playful, with touch of elegance. Add some drama to your classic camisole with this barely there button-up. Try wearing it with a tank to add some flair to everyday attire or wear it with a bandeau and waxed leggings for a Girl’s Night Out.

I like to mix and match different looks, so I added the hat for a street wear twist, then softened the look with ladylike silver sandals. I love these heels, they look fab dressed up or dressed down. I finished the look with a silver body chain, I find these look great with almost anything!
