Beauty is timeless. The 1960's was an innovative era for women's fashions. Things got bolder, quirkier. Shorts got shorter in addition to psychedelic prints and colorblock. The iconic mod 60's look originated in London is so feminine and flirty. All I'm missing is some chunky white framed sunglasses. Thanks to the good people at Forever 21 for hooking up your girl. How cool is it that this entire look is from Forever? Well, boots from Public Desire, but you can get them for Forever too!
I've been loving newsboy hats recently--the bigger the better. It's one accessory that instantly elevates an outfit from simple to chic. Mini wrap skorts (skirt shorts) were a big thing in the 60's and allowed girls to look playful yet modest. At last, girls could bend over and adjust their go-go boots with confidence.
I remember growing up with super strict Asian parents, and was not allowed to wear skirts BUT I COULD WEAR A SKORT. So I had many, many skorts. It felt like a happy medium, a transaction worked out with me and my parents at the tender age of seven lol. Because it was always about fashion. And now I miss my parents. Love you mom and dad!
UPDATE: OMG OMG YOUR GIRL WAS FEATURED ON Forever 21.COM!!! Extremely humbled and utterly grateful to be sponsored and featured by such an influential brand as Forever! There are so many girls out there doing what I'm doing, and it feels SO special to stand out from the rest. Thank you Alejandro Rios for lending me your gifted talents and kind soul. I am living my dream. THANK YOU to everyone reading this for following along on my journey, because good things are meant to be shared. This is just the beginning!

Where will you be in five years? Only time will tell. They say ‘time is of the essence,’ so when and where we divide our time is of utmost importance. That’s the reason I’m drawn to this smooth timepiece from JORD as a stylish reminder of where I should deposit my energy. I'm a tomboy in a sense that I like the big watch faces associated with menswear watches--and in comes the "Frankie." Frankie is available in several colors, but I love the contrast of the Ebony and Black. The matte black finish coupled with gold accents was calling my name, Queen Bee I mean Victoria. Since I don’t have a body tape measurer, I printed out their ruler from their website and used their size chart to measure my wrist. (Anyone else have a fear of metal tape measurers? No? Me either). As suggested, measure your wrist and then add ¼ inch for comfort--which worked like a charm! My watch fits perfectly, not too tight and does not budge. Any wooden surface is bound to catch scratches, which can be easily erased by the finishing oil included with the watch. Not a big deal though, since it’s a super easy fix.
My JORD watch arrived sittin' pretty in a substantial wooden box--and presentation is everything to me. If you're looking to impress a special someone for the holidays, elevate their style with a wooden JORD watch. They have a wide selection of shapes, sizes and wooden finishes that are so unique, elegant and easy on the eyes. Enter my personal giveaway to win $100 off your next purchase! Giveaway ends November 5th. Best of luck!

I've said it once and I've said it again, hunter green is my favorite color to wear in the fall. Such a rich and regal color, flattering on all skin tones. Magical, right? It's different, it's uncommon. It's also my mom's favorite color--so that might explain my affinity. This dress has a lovely ribbed texture, exposed zipper and oversized O-ring zipper, screaming '90s babes of your dreams'. The dress on it's own is a little too racy, so I paired it with a cute velvet beret--both items from Forever 21. I love the way hats have an ability to top off or subdue any outfit, simply diverting the attention from your outfit to your pretty face. This dress is a size small, but I think a medium might have worked better for me since I am a little busty and the dress ran a little short. No big deal, still love how this look mixes edgy and adorable elements.
